Can you believe ‘flormph’ is not a word?

But ‘pickle’ is…and ‘flute’…and ‘nerd’?

And bing and bong and wiffle,

Ain’t just poppycock and piffle?

Who knows what all that means?

Oh, right. The dictionary.

I also looked up taradiddle,

Which is when you fib a little.

I found some words for ‘fib a lot’,

Like hoodoo, muck, and tommyrot.

I guess if you say it long enough,

Like jabberwock and mallowpuff,

And bandersnatch and rumblebuff,

And pufflegraph and huffinstuff,

It slowly becomes less absurd,

And, c’est voila, becomes a word!

*“Flormph” is the sound that a polka-dotted uni-elephant makes while getting out of the bath.
